You Have What It Takes!

“Believe in yourself! Have faith in your abilities! Without a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers you cannot be successful or happy.” – Norman Vincent Peale

Do you believe that you have what it takes to succeed in life? You must! If you cannot believe in your very self, do not expect others to. Do not expect that you will get very far either. Your career or business will be adversely affected by your lack of confidence. The opposite is also true. You will boost your career or business if you have confidence in yourself.

Having confidence in your ability to learn and do is the first step. If you are insecure, your mind and heart focuses on the negative. That means that you will mess things up because insecurity and worry often leads to thinking and acting wrong.

If you are confident, your mind focuses on the positive. You will be able to think more clearly and you will be able to feel better. Though that is not a guarantee of success, it is surely a starting point of all your success.

How do we build self-confidence? Begin by changing your vocabulary. Remove the words “I can’t” or “I am not good enough” or “I never learn” or “I might mess this up”.

Use the following words often, “I can do it” and “I can learn that” and “This is exciting” and “I have a good feeling about this” and “I can fix that” and “I see the bright side here” and “This year is going to be a good year” and “Fantastic” and “I am the king of the world” and “I have what it takes” and more.

Do you believe in yourself?
